Same six people. Same three bars.

You moved to Brussels for the work, the city, the life. The work is fine. The city is beautiful. The life is a group chat.

You’ve tried. The apps feel like job interviews. Meetups feel like waiting rooms. Bars are too loud to hear anyone, and too full of people who didn’t come to meet you.

And the truth nobody says out loud: making friends as an adult is hard. It takes about fifty hours together to turn a stranger into a casual friend, and more than two hundred to make a close one. So most of us just stop trying.

What the research says

Guests in conversation at The Court’s bar
  • One in six people worldwide are affected by loneliness. WHO Commission on Social Connection, 2025
  • 13% of people in the EU feel lonely most or all of the time. EU Loneliness Survey, JRC, 2022
  • Commuters asked to talk to a stranger enjoyed the ride more than those who sat alone, though most predicted the opposite. Epley & Schroeder, 2014
  • Adults who sang together felt close sooner than those who shared a craft class. That’s why music is the centre of every Court night. Pearce, Launay & Dunbar, 2015

How it works

Once in a while, The Court opens a room in Brussels for thirty guests, in groups of ten. Not anyone who buys a ticket: people we’ve chosen, because we think they should meet each other.

  1. Two masked guests taking a photo together

First, you tell us who you are. Twenty questions about who you are and how you connect. Two minutes. Nobody sees your answers but our team.

  2. Masked guests with champagne under the chandeliers

Then we choose the room. Every application is read by a person, not an algorithm. If there’s a place for you, a private invitation follows.

  3. A masked couple under crystal palm chandeliers

On the night, you wear the mask. The address and your hour arrive privately. INNOCNT opens the night with a short live set, then you join the ten people chosen for you for about fifty minutes of conversation.

Are you more…

Two questions to begin. Your answers come with you into the application.

Behind the mask

The Court is the private world of the singer-songwriter INNOCNT. It began with a question: what if a concert was also the best way to meet people?

What it costs

Your application is free. Your seat is not guaranteed. A room of thirty only works if the right thirty are in it, so we read every application and choose. It’s not about status. It’s about chemistry.

The free-to-apply promise

Applying costs nothing, needs no account and commits you to nothing. If you’re chosen, you see the price of your seat on your invitation, and you decide then.

Monday 26 October at 1 PM, for the Session on Wednesday 28 October. There are 30 places, so the room fills from the applications we already have.

Is The Court a dating event?

No. It’s a night for meeting people, built around music. Romance can happen; it’s never the promise. You tell us in your application what you’re open to.

I’d be coming alone. Is that a problem?

Not at all. You’re matched with a group of ten, so you’re never left standing at the edge of a crowd.

I’m shy, or an introvert.

Then the mask is for you. And the music gives everyone something to share before anyone has to speak.

Is it safe?

Every guest is selected and every encounter happens in a hosted room. One rule applies to everyone: every connection is mutual.

What happens to my answers?

They’re private. Only our team reads them, to choose the room. They’re never shown to other guests.

How much does it cost?

Applying is free. If you’re invited, your invitation shows the price of your seat, and you decide then.
