Sexton’s 41 not enough to get the win, Luka and KP edge out Pelicans’ young core

Luka Dončić and Kristaps Porzingis led the Mavs to the victory in Dallas versus the New Orleans Pelicans. This game went into the overtime (127-123) but Kristaps and Luka were very clutch and they essentialy won the game for the Mavs. Porzingis had 34 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks, while Luka had 30 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists. At the Pelicans, Brandon Ingram had 27 points, Ball had 25 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists, while rookie Zion had 21 points.

The Cavaliers fought but could’t get the win at home versus the Celtics (112-106). Collin Sexton was incredible, as he scored his career high 41 points, but he didn’t have enough support from his teammates to get the win. Kevin Love had 26 points and 14 rebounds, Larry Nance had 19 points and 15 rebounds, but it still wasn’t enough. At the Celtics, Tatum had 32 points, Ojeleye had 22 off the bench.

The Thunder won in Detroit against the Pistons 114-107. Shai was great with 27 points, Schroder followed with 23. At the Pistons, Christian Wood was amazing with 29 points, Brandon Knight finished with 18 points and 7 assists.

The Bucks didn’t really have trouble beating the Pacers (119-100). Giannis had a very good game as he dropped 29 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists, Middleton followed him with 20. At the Pacers, TJ Warren had 18 points, McDermott finished with 16.

The Grizzlies destroyed the Nets 118-79. Josh Jackson has been playing great lately, and he scored 19 points today. Tyus Jones had 18 points, Morant finished with 15. At the Nets, Taurean Prince had 15 points, Chris Chioza finished with 14 points off the bench.

The Heat and the Magic battled out in Floridian derby, but the Heat came up as winners in Miami (116-113). Duncan Robinson went off for 27 points, hitting 9 out of his 12 three point attempts. Dragic was also great with 25 points off the bench, while at the Magic Terrance Ross had 35 points off the bench, Vucevic finished with 22 points, 16 rebounds and 7 assists.

The Jazz won in New York against the Knicks 112-104. Donovan Mitchell and Bojan Bogdanovic led the team from Salt Lake City to the victory, as they both had 23 points. At the Knicks, Julius Randle had 32 points, Portis finished with 21.

The new-look Timberwolves won against the Bulls 115-108, as Malik Beasley continued his great run of great games with 24 points perfomance. Russell finished with 19 points, while at the Bulls Coby White continued his great streak with 26 points off the bench.

The Blazers blewout the Wizards at home 125-104. This was a great team perfomance by the Blazers, as 4 players had 20+ points. Carmelo led them with 25, Whiteside had 24 along his 16 rebounds, Lillard and McCollum both had 22 points. At the Wizards, Bradley Beal had 29 points, Bertans had 21 points.
