Thiem tops Zverev to secure the Final

Dominic Thiem won in Australian Open semifinal against Alexander Zverev 3-1 ( 3-6, 6-4, 7-6(3), 7-6(4) ) and secured the spot in big final against Novak Djoković.

The game didn’t start the best way for Austrian no.1, as Zverev took his chances and, powered by his great serve, won the first set.

In the second set, Thiem looked much better, and Alex’s serve wasn’t at needed level, so Dominic leveled the game.

Third set was probably crucial for the whole match, as it went all the way to the tie-break. Thiem was collected, and got the third set to take the lead.

Fourth set was basically the same, as once again Dominic showed off his mental strength and got the set and won the match.

On Sunday, Thiem and Djoković will play the Final at 19:30, Melbourne time.
