Novak Djoković struggled at the beginning, but won against Roger Federer 3-0 (7-6(1), 6-4, 6-3) and secured a spot in the Final.
Roger started of the match perfectly, as he had 4-1 lead and 3 break points. However, Novak came storming back and managed to win that set, which ultimately led to Novak’s confidence rise and he got a win fairly easily.
Federer was visibly not in best condition, as his injury probably limited his ability to run and change directions, but Novak didn’t play well at the beginning, which gave Roger great chance to win the first set, but he couldn’t make the most of it and he lost the first set. After that, everything went downhill for Roger. Novak, despite making some unusual errors in the first half of the second set, consolidated himself and cruised to victory. He now advances to the Australian Open Final, where he will play against either Dominic Thiem or Alexander Zverev.
