Houston Rockets part ways with Ryan Anderson

Experienced forward Ryan Anderson has been waived by the Houston Rockets, according to Shams Charania of the Athletic. Ryan played only 2 games this season for the Rockets, and scored only 5 points.

This 6-foot-10 player signed a deal with the Rockets in the offseason hoping to get some minutes of the bench or alongside Clint Capela, but that hasn’t worked out for him.

Reportedly, Houston Rockets waived 11-year pro due to Salary cap problems, according to Albert Nahmad. They want to avoid luxury tax, and it seems like this was the way to go.
