Europa League – 1st round preview

Europa League is back. With as always incredible 24 matches in group stage of competition. As always we are not able to analise all 24 matches, we are about to focus on 4 in our opinion most important matches of the round.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Arsenal

What a great clasic in the first round of Europa League. Ex semi-finalist and ex finalist from the last year of Europa League are about to try their best in front of German crowd. Frankfurt who sold their best player Luka Jovic are putting themselves in a hard spot againts absolutely prepared Arsenal who won’t let their trophy that easy this year.

PSV vs Sporting

PSV is probably not happy about their last national league season because Ajax endED up winning the league with only few points ahead of PSV. The Portuguese probably won’t be an easy cake for PSV but will fight to their last breath.

Rennes vs Celtic

Celtic is not happy about their results in Champions League qualifications but their start in the national league is proving to be different. Rennes, who got kicked out from Europa League 1/16th round by Arsenal, are probably trying to prove something more this season. Their start in Ligue 1 is also impressive because after 5th round they are sitting in second place, right behind strong PSG.

AS Roma vs Basaksehir

After more then 10 years, Basaksehir has finally found their way to break through from the Turkish league with Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, Beşiktaş in the league and found their spot in Europa League. Even thought Basaksehir is playing impressively well for their abilities, their odds against the great Roma are really miserable.
