KSW is coming to Croatia!

One of the biggest MMA organizations in the world, and labeled as the best production-wise, is coming to Croatia for the first time on the November 9th!

Organization’s president Martin Lewandowski has visited Croatia’s capital in the past week having a meeting with the town’s mayor about the possibility of KSW coming to Zagreb!

Even though there were rumors that KSW would prefer to host an event in Serbia’s capital and the biggest city in the ex-Yugoslavia countries, the organization chose to go with a different route.

Perhaps it was Zagreb’s rich history in hosting big mixed martial arts events, UFC and K-1 being the best representatives, which made it a far more suitable option, at least in this period of time.

The event’s poster has given a few sneak-peaks regarding the fight card with a heavyweight bout between Erko Jun and Mariusz Pudzianowski being the only confirmed one! KSW 51 will also be headlined by Aleksandar Ilić, Filip Pejić, Vaso Bakočević and Antun Račić, who have all made a certain mark in the organization. However, the biggest name that the Konfrontacje wants for the Zagreb card is their current welterweight champion Roberto Soldić who is defending his title tonight in Wembley Stadium against a late replacement Michal Pietrzak!
